Welcome to Belgrade Flapper, it is great having you here!

This is a place where I am happy to share with you my latest discoveries and favorites from the creative world of Belgrade and the region: young and emerging fashion designers, small designer boutiques and studios or interesting events.
It all started spontaneously.

Whenever I travel to other cities, one of my greatest pleasures is to discover less-known, local designers and hidden little shops off the tourist maps that burst with new ideas.  I am the happiest to return with my suitcases filled with local fashion –my substitute for snowballs and fridge magnets.

On the other hand, it has happened to me on several occasions that I ended up compiling personalized itineraries and guides first for my friends, and then friends of my friends, with similar interests in design and fashion visiting Belgrade from abroad. It turned out to be both easy and enjoyable task for me.
So, Belgrade Flapper is created to be exactly the kind of web site I wish I had at my disposal when visiting other cities. That explains why the site is for the time being only in English.

Belgrade Flapper is not meant to cover all things happening in fashion in Belgrade – each shop , designer or event featured here is my personal selection guided by only one criteria: if I feel passionate about something enough to share it with you, it will be featured here. Simple as that.

Oh, and there is no any plan to be “mysterious” about my personal identity. It is just that my everyday self has a different career and all the luxury to remain anonymous. I am not the Belgrade Flapper, it is just the project I do out of pure joy.

I also enjoy receiving feedback from you, so feel free to contact me with your comments, ideas and recommendations whenever you think there is someone or something that deserves to be featured here.
