I always knew that if I was gay, I would be the type that simply throws into their parents faces, without any introduction, “Look, I am lesbian!”. I have never mastered the art of beating around the bush.

So here I am, getting out of a closet, so support me here: I am not romantic. Not in a roses and dawns kind-a-way. I find the Valentine’s Day ridiculous, no- Aussies use a better term – terribly cheesy. Presented with a heart-shaped bouquet, I would burst into uncomfortable giggle (or uncontrollable vomit). My first date line has always been “I don’t do flowers”.

However, Valentine’s Day sales I do not mind, not at all. So do not be surprised if you find me in Choomich Design District on February 14th, eating complimentary heart-shaped lollies and shopping like crazy on discounted prices. Each person is a riddle.

Anyway, when I just remind you that you’ll be able to shop most of the brightest Belgrade fashion design talents on that occasion on special Valentine’s prices, I am sure you will succumb too. Just think: No Brothers No Sisters, Dejan Despotovic, Dejana Momcilovic, Ana Ljubinkovic and many, many others with price tags that will give you butterflies in the stomach…Who cares what the occasion is?
